This trainer is suitable for analyzing real performance of the unit due to all components position are similar to the original location. We did not modify the unit; just add protections, instrumentation and measurement pick up points for taking data without removing parts or casing.

The indoor side is placed in cabinet with adjustable exhaust damper (cabinet temperature regulator), so the student will be able to analyze the system performance at various indoor temperature (data can be taken at different indoor temperature), this will also enable the students to monitor the thermostat action (cut‐in and cut‐out temperatures). The original casing has been modified and it is possible to sight inside by means transparent acrylic.

Refrigeration and electrical circuit diagram are provided for instructional guidance.

Window/Split type Air Conditioner (depend on selected model), High and Low Pressure Control, Pressure Gauges, Temperature Display with thermocouple sensors (selectable), Access Valves, Electrical Switchboard with Voltmeter and Ammeter. Unit protected by Earth Leakage Circuit Breaker.
